Championship Rules
1 Register your school anytime before February 15th :
- Registration is open to schools of any size.
- Just go to our website www.daderecycling.com and fill out the registration form.
- Every school already registered in our fundraising program is automatically registered for the championship.
2 Collect as many empty ink & toner cartridges from printers and as many used cell phones as you can:
- Place a recycling box or bin in a central location within your school (Dade Recycling can Provide free collection bins if your school doesn't have one)
- Distribute your flyers and ask everyone to deposit their empty cartridges and used cell phones in your bin. (just go to fund raising resources in our website download our customizable flyers and distribute them to kids and their parents)
3 Schedule pickups:
- Send us an e-mail to pickup@daderecycling.com or call 786-326-7382 to schedule a pick up.
- You may schedule a pickup whenever your bin is full.
4 Dade Recycling will make a donation to your school for every cell phone and every qualifying empty cartridge according to our list.
- For details about which items will be accepted please go to link.
5 Corporate sponsorship is allowed:
- Go ahead ask any company to donate their empties and used cell phones to your school. How hard can it be? We are talking about trash after all.
- Download our customizable "Corporate Sponsor Flyer" and distribute them to any company you can think of.
How the winners will be selected
Winners will be selected adding all the collection receipts from February 1st to May 30th

If your school is already participating in Dade Recycling's fund raising program you are automatically registered for the competition. No further action required from your part.
